League Bylaws

Game Settings:
Injuries = 150
Salary Cap = 20 to 50
X Factor = OFF
Roster Set = Yarb's 2007-2008 season roster set.

I) General Items of Conduct

     *All owners are required to follow the rules listed below. Violation in any of these rules warrants suspension or removal.
     *Any cheating will constitute in immediate removal and permanent ban from the league and any of it's activities.
     *I expect owners to be mature in nature. This means no public bashing of other owners, no swearing in public places (forums and live sims), an no disrespectful behavior of any kind. We're all adults here, lets enjoy the game. Remember, its just a game.
     *The use of any external utility, not approved by the league office, will constitute in cheating and will result in immediate removal.

II) Owner Expectations (aka Activity)

     *I expect owners to participate in the league as much as possible. We will sim 3 weeks every real week so the seasons will move quickly. I require owners to send atleast 2 team exports per week. I don't feel that is a demanding request and it keeps teams active.
     *Owners that know they are leaving town or going on vacation, I simply ask to post your away times in the forum so I do not remove your team from you.
     *There will be periodic roll calls throughout the season. One time there WILL be one is at the end of each season so we can see who is coming back each season.

III) Weekly Schedule

IV)  Trades

     *All owners that complete a trade must post the transaction in the appropriate section of the message board. Both owners involved in the deal MUST reply within that post confirming the deal.
     *The trade deadline is schedule for week 5 every year.
     *The commissioner has the right to veto any deal he feels is lopsided. All trades are looked at in the best interest of the league.

V) Player Contracts and Position Changes

     *Back loaded contract rule was eliminated.
     *Keep a close eye on what the  player wants and what your salary cap is. Do not put yourself in salary cap jeopardy.
     *Position changes are permitted, however, if a rating change is more than 10%, that move is NOT allowed. Be smart with these. Don't move a HB to a FS or a CB to a LB. It just doesn't happen.
     *All position changes must be announced in the correct section of the forum. Any position changes made without posting will result in a warning. 2nd time, your out!

VI) Roster Rules

Regular Season & Playoffs: Max 53 Non Injury Reserved Players
Preseason: Max 60 Non Injury Reserved Players
Offseason: Max 70 Non Injury Reserved Players

     VI) Section 2) Injured Reserves

          *To IR a player, they must be injured for 10 weeks or more, listed as OUT, or be out for longer than the remaining games of the season. For example, if we're on week 11 and a player goes down for 8 weeks, you can IR the player.
